Peter Ware
CEO - FOUNDER - STRENGTH & CONDITIONING - CONTENT CREATION
BIO
Peter (PJ) Ware began his journey into the health and wellness world when, as a student, he started to work part time at a fitness facility. He began personal training, focusing on human movement and functional training and, with this, The NRG Way training program was created, which is a healthy lifestyle that provides people with a physical, mental
and emotional foundation for their lives.
The NRG Way is a mobile system that enables train ing of up to 40 or 50 employees at once, on all different levels of fitness, on-site at our clients premises as well as online. PJ is a National Strength and Conditioning Coach and is IFPA certified, as well as a Level 2 Certified Advanced Kettlebell instructor.
Some of his specialties are functional training, strength training and biomechanics. He mentored under top trainers, doctors and sport
chiropractors in the industry. In 2008 Peter opened his first retail gym location in east Fort Lauderdale. After a few years in retail, PJ began researching and understanding the complexity of corporate wellness and the components needed to have a successful, long term program. PJ also soon realized the corporate workplace culture was shifting to have a more work/life balance.
His focus turned increasingly to the challenges of corporate wellness, which led him to respond to the growing demand for well-run, engaging, top-of-the-line corporate wellness programs, especially in underserved markets. In 2012 he was contracted by Humana Insurance in Miramar Florida, to create their first on-site wellness program. There, PJ helped create and participated in the wellness committee at Humana, which met once a month to focus on innovating their program and sustaining high levels of engagement.
After leaving Humana, in 2015 PJ created NRG Corporate Wellness to make his services available to medium and large corporations and other organizations in South Florida with the mission of improving the fitness and nutrition of their employees. One goal is to get as many employees as possible off preventable medications. Companies are increasingly recognizing the value of such programs to their bottom line.
NRG has a clientele of companies ranging from 50 employees and up, such as the City of Miami Beach, AutoNation and The Spice Lab. NRG’s wellness programs are a three-time award winner in the South Florida Business Journal, Healthiest Employer Awards with Humana and The City of Miami Beach. For its on-site training, NRG creates customized programs based on the needs of the client, by offering NRG educational seminars, customized NRG incentive programs, NRG yoga sessions and on-site large group training called CampNRG. When possible, NRG relies on an old school approach to marketing companies’ wellness programs to associates, walking the hallways and creating and maintaining relationships to optimize employee participation. In addition, NRG maintains close contacts with associates through social media and regular video updates.
In March 2020 when stay-at-home orders were mandated because of
COVID-19, Peter shifted gears from providing on-site wellness services to off-site wellness services. He did so by creating a new company called The NRG Way, which he had been planning for and working on for 2 years. The NRG Way Wellness Platform brings fitness, yoga, meditation, food education, seminars, stretch protocols and much more to each individual’s desktop computer and/or mobile device. The NRG Way is a way of life. We help turn your home into a wellness sanctuary. The world we live in has changed and so is the way we help people stay healthy and stay motivated.
The successful formula PJ uses is simple: Engagement + Incentives + Senior Leadership = a long-term sustainable program.
Tim Sims
NRG TRAINER
FLORIDA, US
BIO
Tim Sims was born and raised in Belle Glade, Florida, where he spent his early years playing basketball, football, and baseball. It was clear that he had a passion for academics and sports. He excelled as an athlete, particularly in football and basketball, and would eventually finish high school at the top of his class.
The summer before entering middle school, he was devastated by the passing of his beloved mother. Instead of allowing the event to negatively impact him, it catalyzed transformation and motivated him to make his mother proud. He later uses this strength and determination to overcome injuries sustained after being struck by a car in middle school. He persevered through several surgeries and an inability to walk for six months. His ability to surpass the doctors' expectations of a 50/50 chance of playing football again is a testament to his commitment on and off the field. He continued to play football for Glades Central High School where he was a standout scholar who graduated with honors.
As the valedictorian of his graduating class and an elite high school athlete, his success allowed him to earn a scholarship to the prestigious Stanford University. His academic and athletic success would continue throughout college and he later earned Captain Honors as a senior. He graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
After working in corporate America, he decided to follow his passion of becoming an entrepreneur. This is where his journey of Simsfit began. Tim is a living example of a transformative and healthy living. He wants to pass on the lessons he learned through overcoming tragedies and career-threatening injuries. Helping others transform their lives and become healthier has allowed his years in fitness to become the most rewarding and satisfying years of his adult life. He looks forward to continuing to make his mother proud by changing lives for the better and leaving a legacy of spreading health and wellness. Start your Simsfit journey today!

BIO
Katie has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years and teaching since 2013. Her classes focus on breath, alignment, and strength as well as functional mobility. Her greatest hope in teaching is that she will inspire people to get to know themselves on a deeper level… to ask more questions, be more curious, pay more attention, and connect with that place deep inside of them that is their true essence. Whether you are coming to class purely for a workout, or maybe some mindful movement, or whatever else your reason might be…. she hopes her classes will offer a little something for everyone and that you will always leave feeling just a little more centered and grounded than when you arrived. Billy Casimir
NRG TRAINER
FLORIDA, US
BIO
Every superhero has an origin story. As I tell mine, I hope you think of yours. if you haven't already thought about it. I was always active growing up, I wish I could attribute that solely to me choosing this path but that is a small piece of the puzzle. Like many, fitness allowed me to overcome some of my own insecurities, deal with stressful situations, and feel better about myself overall. It's my belief that being the best version of yourself is more than just pumping out push-ups and squats. The physical reward of a nice body(relative to each) is a byproduct of shifting your mindset and saying yes to yourself. I'm 7 years into my career and proud to say I've learned under very respected individuals in the industry that has allowed me to elevate at an amazing rate. I'm extremely grateful and look forward to helping play a part in your health via the NRG Way App.
